We had two boys Daniel and Zach.

The boys were both raised to be caring young men.
Our son Daniel often cooks meals for the homeless and our son Zach who passed in 21 from sepsis always would give the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it.

His last act of kindness was to provide a blanket for warmth to the man that was responsible for his demise.
Our son Daniel told us about a man being denied admission in a homeless shelter because of his sexual orientation.
This touched our hearts because we felt alone when we needed help with our sons funeral expenses right before Christmas.

We thought that young man that froze when needing help was someone's son and we thought of how we felt when Noone seemed to care about our son Zach. They did not know the person he was, they just judged him for using a drug that ended his life.

The first hospital he was brought too even judged him and did not give him the medical treatment needed.

We want to see everyone has someone to advocate for them and help them without judgement.
Our family has always did this in some small ways and we want to do more, so thar our wonderful son Zach is remembered for being a person that was generous and kind.
He would want to protect that young man or lady on the street, that feels hopeless,unloved, and invisible. His love for God's creation prompted the name of our farm.

Rays of hope.

We often watched the sky's together and admired the beautiful sunsets that reminded us of a light of hope in a world of darkness.
This is how zachsraysofhopefoundation was named.
The animals here played with Zach and he hurt when they did.

He had a special connection to animals.
A duck laid an egg in his lap as a child.

The animals here would want to be in his presence and play or give him a hug.
I ramble on because there is so much I want people to know about Zach he was funny and lit up a room with his smile.

He was so handsome his friends called him pretty boy.

People who truly knew Zach talked about the caring fun person he was.
